TREATMENT ROOMS

 

The Violet Room:  Ground floor. Fully furnished for massage and energy work practices.
Measures 10 X 13.

Please bring your own linen, candles, essential oils, etc.

$12                     Hour

$85                     4 hour block, one day a week (same day each week) per month

$125                   One full day a week (same day each week) per month

$160                   2 full days a week (same days each week) per month

$250                   3 full days a week (same days each week) per month

 

The Harmony Room: Ground Floor.  Treatment Room/Small Group Space

This space may be rented for occasional workshops or for ongoing uses such as a weekly or monthly class or seminar. The space measures approximately 255 square feet (15 ft x17 ft).

Treatment Room:  $12/hour.

Small Group Space:

 Large Group Space

Room size:   21 x 29 (over 600 sq. ft.)
A fee of 30% will be charged per participant.  You will have access to classroom one hour before class and one hour after for teardown.

RENTAL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
For one-time or occasional rentals for workshops and groups

 

Initial Visit and Building Tour
We want you to feel comfortable in this space.  We request you make a personal visit and building tour with us before a rental contract is signed. The following documents (or an equivalent) must be provided to us at or before the visit:


Evidence of professional qualifications
Syllabus or description of proposed workshop

Air quality
This is a non-smoking space.
In respect to individuals with allergies, we request that you refrain from excessive use of scented candles, incense, smudges, aromatherapy oils, perfume, and so on.

Candles
When using candles, please use extreme care: candles should be lit only when there is someone present in the room.

Networking area
Flyers, brochures, and business cards must be approved by Harmony in Life before being displayed.

"Leave it as you find it or better"
Renters are responsible for leaving spaces in a clean, orderly condition. If you moved furniture around for your use, please restore it to its original arrangement.

Closing up
The last person to leave is responsible for turning off lights, turning down the heat or turning off the AC, and locking up. We have an instruction sheet to help you attend to all the closing-up tasks.

Professionalism
In the best interests of all who work at Harmony in Life, we require our teachers/practitioners to observe high standards of ethical and professional conduct and to be considerate of clients' well-being at all times.

Advertising
If your workshop/class or event falls under the publication deadline or the Harmony in Life Newsletter, we will advertise your class in the publication.  We will also list your class on the Harmony in Life Calendar. We strongly encourage you to use other methods to promote your class, such as your own website, flyers, and advertising in local publications (Sylvania Advantage and the City Paper).  We want your class/event to be a huge success.

Insurance
All therapists or holistic practitioners who rent space with us must carry their own malpractice insurance. We will require a photocopy of your insurance policy for our files.

Payment due
For workshops and group use, a deposit of $25.00 is due at the time the space is booked. We will collect all fees from each participant.  Upon competition of the class, we will pay the instructor.  Please turn in class roster at end of class.

Refund policy
A full refund of the deposit will be given if cancellation occurs more than one month ahead.
50% of the deposit will be refunded for cancellations two weeks or more before the event.
No refunds for cancellations less than two weeks ahead.

Termination
Harmony in Life management has the right to terminate any agreement without a refund if our rental policies are not followed.
